What's the secret behind athi varadhar temple?

                          Few months ago some words got viral in social media,every one was speaking about that,even people who are all not in social networking sites spoke about that.Yes guys you are correct I am speaking about athi varadar temple.Every 40 years  athi varadhar coming out of water and giving blessing for his devotees.You people may wonder what's the mystery in that,Yes there is.For that you have know the place nadavavi kinaru(step well) in Iyankarkulam,It's a small village,located at 9 km from athi varadar temple.600 years ago this well is constructed by vijayanagara kingdom

                     

                                 If you visit this step well nothing you will find interesting a ordinary well having steps towards the water.But if you visit this place during chitra pornami day you will find something interesting.Water from well will be drained out by local villagers,if you are stepping down the well you will be able to see a mandapa with beautifully curved stupa's  inside.

                    One more interesting thing is again the mandapa contain one more square shaped well in center.Water in square well wont be drained out.The mystery here is square shaped well is having one secret chamber(you will be able to see one uncovered portion of square well),since only little bit of  water will be drained out,so we are not able to see that chamber.

           During chita poornami day ursavar of varadharaja perumal brought into this place and some hindu ritual is going on there that they called as pathi ulla/nadavavi ursava.My question is why one god(athi varadar) is sleeping in water for 40 years and another one god(ursavar) is going to the water for yearly once and where the secret chamber in square well leads to?.If you people know the answer please comment your answer
