Trip to Nagarcoil and kanyakumari

Started my journey from Chennai to nagercoil. After my long train travel,I took little fresh up from my hotel room and took our rented two wheeler, started our journey towards mathur hanging bridge(Kanyakumari district).Mathur dam was built across pahrali river for purpose of carrying water from one hill to another.As sun started rising, to cool down the heat we took palm fruit rasna as refreshing drink on the high way and continued our journey,condition of road  to that bridge is not so good it's full of ridge groove.It seems there is two ways to reach bridge ,a road way that will take you to directly to top of bridge and another way is steps.We choose to climb step(nearly 150 steps) to reach the top.                                      Mamandur is a small village in Tiruvanamalai district.It's about 10 km from kanchipuram.We started from kanchipuram.For us it was 20 min journey.With help of google maps we reached near pachaiamman temple.From there we took help of local village people,to find the place .There are totally 4 rock cut temple.Two rock cut temple will be on ground level.Remaining two rock cut temple were on top of that small hill,It will be having nearly 30 steps.                                                                       ...

Festival details of athi varadar upto august and Information centre details

             Athi varadar festival is marking its print in history.Even though there are difficulties like sun and rain,Everyday count of devotees increases for athi varadar.Government taking several measures like  plan of shifting athi varadar from vasantha mandapam(from august 1st),increased online special darshan(Rs.300) from 500 seats to 2000 seats for crowd management.              There is a new update in athi varadar online booking.Previously there was only sahasranama archana tickets were announced.But now new online booking for special ticket were announced. Athi varadar online booking and group ticket booking step by step details

                Athi varadar darshan started from 1st july,2019.On first day itself more than one lakh people got the blessing of athi varadar.Government has made several facilities for devotees like,wheel chair,battery car,medical aid etc.Previously there are three type of darshan announced(free darshan,paid darshan(Rs.50),online booking(sahasranamam archana) . But on day 1 itself, festival organizers cancelled the paid darshan. As of now  only two darshan available free darshan and online booking.
